We’re Flat Hill Constructions, a business created by husband and wife duo, Scott and Kirstin Calder. With Kirstin’s design acumen and Scott’s wealth of experience in construction and renovation, we bring both perspectives to every home transformation we complete. It eliminates that disconnect that often exists between builders and designers.
Both the design and build are considered from both angles from the beginning of your project. It's how we pull off our amazing, cohesive transformations, time and time again.
Flat Hill Constructions was created to give you a superior renovation experience
One half of our founders, Scott, had worked as a builder for decades before deciding he wanted to start his own business. It wasn’t the typical tradie turned business story you hear — it wasn’t about money or freedom. It was about client care. Scott wanted to create a construction business that was known for listening to its clients, exceeding their expectations, and communicating at every stage of the project.
As well as that, we wanted to shake up the industry, catering to female homeowners. When you partner with us, you’ll deal with sales consultants, project managers, and designers who are women.
Today? That's exactly what we've done.
